SUPPLEMENTS FOR CULTIVATION
The substrate complements are formed by expanded materials that improve the quality of the substrate. Perlite and Vermiculite are minerals that from a transformation of their properties have been expanded, creating a porous rock. These pores are valued in the cultivation of plants for their capacity of retention of the water and the improvement of the aeration of the roots.
They are mainly used in intensive and seasonal plant crops, incorporated as an ingredient in peat, coconut or composite substrates. There are cases of hydroponic type crops on these materials.
