The range of foliar fertilizers have very pure and precise formulations which make it possible to create highly reliable, effective products. All the formulations are virtually free of chlorides and have a neutral pH, which means no plant organs will be burnt when the foliar fertilizer is sprayed on.

The main advantages of using foliar fertilizer compared with other fertilizing systems are summarized below:
· Nutrients are applied directly to the leaves, where they are immediately assimilated. Approximately 95% of the nutrients are absorbed this way, which is twice the amount assimilated under favourable conditions when fertilizer is applied to the roots.
· Foliar fertilizers can be applied at the same time other treatments are applied, such as insecticides and fungicides, provided no incompatibilities have been described and the other products do not have a pH above 8.5.
· Nutrients applied to leaves are not dependent on the soil's ability to retain them, as frequently occurs with phosphorous, manganese, iron and zinc when applied to alkaline soils.
· We recommend not applying foliar fertilizers during the hottest part of the day.

DOSAGE
In general, dosages should be applied as follows:
- Outdoor cultivars: 400-500 g of AQUAFERTIL in 100 litres of water.
- Greenhouse cultivars: 150-250 g of AQUAFERTIL in 100 litres of water.
