BLACK VOLCANIC ROCK

Black volcanic rock of uniform particle size (6-16 mm, 16-25 mm or 25-40 mm). It is slightly denser than red volcanic rock. The applications of the different particle sizes are as follows:

6-16 mm particle size: recommended as a drainage material to make substrates and for drainage systems.

16-25 mm particle size: used to decorate gardens and courtyards to reduce maintenance work, avoid erosion and prevent weeds from growing. Its volcanic properties make it very suitable as a top layer in planters and parterres and as mulch.

25-40 mm particle size: can be used as coarse mulch to protect roots from temperature changes and moisture, prevent weeds from growing and keep bare soil from eroding.
